CPE
Chlorinated
polyethylene (CPE) impact
modifiers
is performace polymer used in many
thermoplastic and elastomer applications.
In thermoplastic application, CPE is used
as a cost effective impact modifier for
vinyl siding and window profiles and for
PVC pipes, electrical connectors and
fittings.
It is also used as an impact modifier
and flame retardant additive in ABS
compounds
used to injection mold computer housing In elastomer applications, CPE is a
cost
effective polymer that provides an excellent balance of chemical, heat and flame-retardant
profperties in automotive, wire and cable and
general rubber application. CPE is
supplied in powder form.

Stabilisers
Stabilisers are used
as heat stablizers, allowing the termally unstable
PVC polymer to be formed into products. Stabilisers always contain

compounds together with various organic compounds.
